Annual Monster March Parade
Always the 2nd last Saturday in October.
SPONSORED BY THE ELORA BIA MERCHANTS
MORE MONSTER MONTH: For two decades, Tim Murton’s Twilight Zoo has been decorating the streets of Elora with a unique collection of lantern sculptures. The TZ inspired many others to offer spooky-themed events and haunted offerings throughout Centre Wellington including a Self-Guided Tour, Spirit and Ghost Walks, Spooky Stables, Lantern Tours, Creepy Meals and Drinks, Halloween Dances, Magicians and a non-motorized parade called “Monster March”. Elora resident and artist Julie Denneny with volunteer friends and support of the Elora BIA, developed the Monster March to the streets in 2009 and it has been a main event ever since. Families (including pets!) are encouraged to dress up, watch or march and bring a food bank donation. Both Parade and Twilight Zoo are now Monster Month activities run by Sensational Elora.
Immerse yourself in a frightfully fun month of activities for the entire family!
